The Minnesota State High School Clay Target League will bring the 2017-18 prep sports season to a close Friday at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake, site of the clay target state tournament.
Hibbing, which finished second a year ago, is among the 40 qualifying teams, and there are 115 individual participants.
The team competition begins at 9 a.m. Friday, with the individuals slated for 1 p.m.
This spring, there were more than 12,000 participants and 349 high school teams in the league, which launched in 2012.
