Newell Court, 6:05 p.m. Tuesday One of three people said to be smoking marijuana in an open courtyard where eight to 10 juveniles were present tried to run off when officers arrived. Once apprehended, police arrested the 20-year-old man and seized the loaded stolen gun tucked in his waistband.

200 block of Hedge Road, 7:51 a.m. Tuesday A red Chevrolet Camaro was stolen.

200 block of O’Connor Street, 3:40 p.m. Tuesday Tools were taken from a garage.

Brewster Avenue, 9:26 a.m. Monday A locked building at a construction site was burglarized.

Lincoln Avenue, 10:22 p.m. Monday A person was robbed by two males who jumped from a vehicle and took his wallet.

Chestnut Street, 4:10 a.m. Tuesday A male reported being robbed.

100 block of George Court, 5:01 p.m. Tuesday Someone used a resident’s personal information to file a fraudulent tax return.

500 block of East Hamilton Avenue, 6:45 p.m. Tuesday Two people who had burglary tools when they entered Kohl’s were arrested. Police said the man, 27, had an outstanding felony warrant and that they found the 23-year-old woman in possession of a stolen driver’s license she’d planned to use for fraudulent return.

FOSTER CITY

Shell Boulevard, 6:01 p.m. Monday Packages stolen by juveniles on skateboards were returned to the owners.

Highway 92 and Foster City Boulevard, 3:56 p.m. Tuesday A truck driver who appeared to be watching children while pulled over on the shoulder, according to a concerned party, told an officer when contacted that he was taking his mandatory 30-minute driving break.

Walsh Road, 4:01 p.m. Tuesday Jewelry was reported missing from a residence.

Adam Way, 4:15 p.m. Tuesday A fraudulent tax return was filed in a resident’s name.

BURLINGAME

Rollins Road, 10:41 a.m. Monday A vehicle was stolen.

Balboa Avenue, 1:03 p.m. Monday A resident who received a call from a person claiming to need money for an injured child was advised of the phone scam.

Floribunda Avenue, 3:55 p.m. Monday A female reported to be yelling and swearing in a vehicle told police when contacted that she was venting while en route to a funeral.

480 Primerose Road, 3:59 p.m. Monday A laptop computer was stolen from the library.

Trousdale Drive, 3:59 p.m. Tuesday A parked vehicle was kicked by someone who put two dents in the side.

SAN CARLOS

1101 Industrial Road, 3:09 p.m. Tuesday A 32-year-old woman who was suspected of using counterfeit bills for a $200 purchase at Office Depot three weeks earlier was recognized when she returned to make another purchase. She was detained and determined to be in possession of a large quantity of counterfeit money and methamphetamine, and subsequently arrested.

4269 El Camino Real, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 14 Two vehicles at The Sea by Alexander’s Steakhouse were burglarized.

NEWARK

Cedar Boulevard and Birch Street, 7:30 a.m. Sept. 22 A 30-year-old San Lorenzo man who was suspected of reckless driving was arrested. Police said he had a suspended driver’s license and was on parole. They also said he was in possession of a realistic BB gun, ammunition and stolen property.

5699 Mowry Ave., 9:46 p.m. Sept. 22 While investigating an auto burglary at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, an officer recovered six discarded backpacks and a laptop case appearing to belong to visitors from Europe.

36768 Cedar Blvd., 8:31 a.m. Sept. 23 Amigo Cell Wireless was burglarized. Money and a cellphones were taken.

38000 block of Woodruff Drive, 4:33 p.m. Sept. 23 A house was ransacked during a burglary.

36700 block of Port Fogwood Place, 5:26 p.m. Sept. 23 A residence was burglarized.

6430 Thornton Ave., 8 a.m.-8:06 p.m. Friday A blue 1996 Acura Integra (4FML619) was stolen from the parking lot at Newark Pavilion.

Central Avenue, 9:50 p.m. Friday A 24-year-old Fremont man police believe drove through a cyclone fence gate at the end of the street, continued three miles along various levees before landing in a ditch — a few feet shy of salt pond about six feet deep — was booked into jail on suspicion of DUI.

NewPark Mall, 10 p.m. Friday A female waiting for a ride outside Macy’s was robbed at gunpoint by two men who took her purse and cellphone. Both were in their mid-to late 20s.

6170 Thornton Ave., 12:57 a.m. Friday Haller’s Pharmacy was burglarized.

6200 block of Diary Avenue, 7:56 p.m. Friday A suspected intoxicated male driver, 45, who left the scene of a collision was contacted and arrested at his residence on Lafayette Avenue after a witness provided police with a vehicle description and license plate number.

8136 Enterprise Drive, 10:45 p.m. Friday All American Rentals was burglarized. A Ford F-350 work truck was taken, and also large equipment, tools, boots and framed artwork.

Broadway 3:33 p.m. Sunday A resident who received a threatening call from PG&E demanding money was advised of the phone scam.

Loyola Drive, 4:53 p.m. Sunday A coyote sighting was reported.

Edgehill Drive, 6:36 p.m. Sunday Motorcycles were pushed over.

FREMONT

Fremont Boulevard near Central Avenue, Monday A motorcyclist upset with a driver reportedly broke the side mirror on the person’s vehicle and sped off.

43601 S. Grimmer Blvd., Monday A female at Chevron was about to help out a teen who needed gas money when he grabbed and ran off with her wallet.

Unit block of North Abbott Avenue, 11:45 a.m. Tuesday An assault occurred.

400 block of East Calaveras Boulevard, 4:39 p.m. Tuesday A vehicle was stolen.
