The iShares North American Tech-Multimedia Networking ETF (IGN) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 553,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 96,000. Shares of IGN were off about 1.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Cisco Systems (CSCO), trading off about 2% with over 19.6 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Qualcomm (QCOM), off about 2.9% on volume of over 6.2 million shares. Arista Networks (ANET) is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 1.2% on the day, while Netgear (NTGR) is lagging other components of the iShares North American Tech-Multimedia Networking ETF, trading lower by about 4.7%.
