Recently, a Geekbench benchmark for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has emerged and it reportedly shows the official specifications of the device, for both the Verizon and global Note 5 variants.

According to the listing that was recently posted on GSM Arena, the Verizon variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is going to be much different from the global one.

As the listing claims, the Verizon variant is going to run on the Samsung's octa-core Exynos 7420 processor with a clock speed of 1.50 GHz and will be backed up by 4GB of RAM.

As explained on the GSM Arena website, Verizon's variants have consistently used the model number SM-N900V, which was first used on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, followed by the model number SM-N910V for the Note 4 and now, the SM-N920V for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

The listing also mentioned that Verizon's variant will run on the Android 5.1.1 operating system, or more commonly referred to as Android Lollipop.

As for the international model, Tech Times has reported that the processor which will be used will be much different than Verizon's. It was stated by the same website that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 global variant will run on the much powerful CPU Exynos 7422.

Previous rumors about the device have also pointed out that the Note 5 is going to have an improved S Pen feature.

The device, as speculations suggest, is expected to be launched during the Unpacked Event of Samsung this coming Aug. 13, together with the other rumored device, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.

Of course these are all speculations for now. Since Samsung has yet to make an official announcement or address these leaks and rumored specs, it is ideal to take these rumors with a grain of salt for now, and wait until the tech giant finally releases the official details.
