LAFAYETTE, La., March 23, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Ultra Pure Water Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:UPWT) (Ultra Pure) announced today that ICEX Holdings Ltd., Inc. (ICEX), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ultra Pure, has been contracted to install the ICEX "Ice Island" proprietary ice production units for Macro Oil Company, Inc. (Macro). The units will be installed in Macro's Complete Stop Food Mart Convenience Stores located in the Lafayette, LA area.
Daniel LeBlanc, President of ICEX stated, "We are extremely pleased with the opportunity to install our 'Ice Island' units in Macro's Food Mart stores located in the Lafayette, LA area. The units will undergo a production testing at the Food Mart locations to supply ice sales for the stores. The systems will allow Macro to exercise better control of their bagged ice inventory, eliminate the need for ice deliveries, and allow for sales fulfillment during peak ice demand periods."
