SANTA MONICA–The 33rd annual Twilight Concert series lineup has been announced. Billed as “Southern California’s largest free concert series,” the Thursday night concerts officially start on Thursday, June 22 with a neo-soul and R&B night featuring Khalid and Bibi Bourelly.

The concerts are free to the public and occur every Thursday night from June 22 to August 17, excluding July 6. Earlier this year, a campaign to cancel the series was led by Santa Monica Arts Commission member Phil Brock due to nearly $1 million being spent by the city of Santa Monica on public safety and security during the 2016 series.

DJs from media partner KCRW will present each concert, as it has been done during the past years. The Twilight Concert Series is co-produced by RH&S Concerts (a partnership between Spaceland Presents and Rum & Humble).

This year’s lineup is as follows:

-6/22 Neo Soul/R&B (Khalid)

-6/29 Indie Pop (Lemaitre)

-7/13 Reggae (Marcia Griffiths)

-7/20 Rock (Eric Burdon & The Animals)

-7/27 Aussie Dance (Miami Horror)

-8/3 Americana (Valerie June Irma Thomas)

-8/10 Latin (Mon Laferte)

-8/17 Indie Rock/At (Warpaint)
