UnitedHealthcare has presented Bellin Health with its Well Deserved Award in honor of the company’s commitment to innovative, industry-leading workplace wellness programs.

Bellin was one of five Wisconsin companies that received the award or an honorable mention this year. This is the seventh year UnitedHealthcare has recognized companies it works with who work to improve employees’ health and well being.

Bellin Health’s wellness program boasts a 100 percent participation rate. The company has been able to demonstrate quantifiable savings based on shifts in risk and incurred claims. The health care provider has offered no-cost access to an emotional well-being counselor, provides free office visits for six conditions identified as the top cost-drivers and introduces monthly health challenges.

Other recipients in the state include Milwaukee-based MGIC Investment Corp., the Waukesha School District, Neenah-based J.J. Keller and Associates Inc. and Fond du Lac-based Sadoff and Rudoy Industries.
