COPLEY, Ohio- FirstMerit Bank will close seven of its Ohio locations in April.
The bank is consolidating 16 branches in four states, FirstMerit spokesman Rob Townsend said on Thursday. All of the affected branches will close on April 30.
The closing Ohio locations are:
1185 East Main St., Ashland
2801 Copley Rd., Copley
2281 West 4th St., Mansfield
1607 Amherst Rd. NE, Massillon
269 West Main St., Ravenna
15312 Pearl Rd., Strongsville
596 West Market St., Tiffin
According to Townsend, those who work at these branches will be reassigned to other locations.
