Aguilar has no concerns about Planned Parenthood

It is reassuring to see that Congressman Aguilar has continued the Coffee with the Congressman similar to what was done with Coffee with the Council in Redlands. However, his approach to engaging with his constituents has evolved.

No longer does he listen and speak to the entire audience so we could all listen to his responses collectively. Instead, he approached table-by-table so what may have been said at one table may evolve as he goes to another.

This is classic “divide the constituents” so the entire group won’t hear his anti-American, anti-life, and anti-citizen positions. (Marc Steinorth on the other hand spoke in front of everyone knowing that he would have opposition – myself included. That’s true inclusive engagement.)

At the Coffee on July 18, he braved the storm to meet with constituents.

His response to the concerns many had regarding the recently released Planned Parenthood video was “I have absolutely no problems with it (Planned Parenthood),” and, “It was a heavily edited video that was made years ago … that’s made its way to a lot of blogs…”

The video was made less than one year ago (July 25, 2014). I watched the entire two and a half hours of the unedited version. I also read the entire transcript. This issue is not just making it to the bloggers unless he considers ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS, and even MSNBC as simply bloggers.

Aguilar has accepted more than $10,000 from Planned Parenthood. In 2014, he is the sixth highest compensated congressman from California accepting money from Planned Parenthood.

Dr. Deborah Nucatola, senior director of medical services at Planned Parenthood, said, “It goes in a labeled box, and it goes to Stericycle, yes. Stericycle, they handle—this is considered pathologic waste, there’s pathologic waste and biological waste .… A lot of waste is just steam sterilized and then dumped. If it’s biological waste it has to be incinerated, it has to be tagged for incineration, that adds cost…. And, at the end of the day, it is all just sitting there, it’s all just going to be wasted otherwise. That’s what it is, it’s a waste. It’s a complete and total waste.”

Aguilar has absolutely “no concerns” about accepting money from Planned Parenthood that considers live human babies as “waste.”
