Public Record: Health inspections

The Fairfield County Department Health Environmental Health Office has released area restaurant inspections.

Inspections are from Sept. 26 to 30

Dollar General, 11995 Chillicothe-Lancaster Road, Tarlton, Sept. 27. No violations.

RLM-JAM Enterprises Ltd. Mini Donut Trailer, 8090 Busey Road, Pickerington, Sept. 28. No violations.

Bickford of Lancaster, 1834 Countryside Drive, Lancaster, Sept. 28. Violations: A buildup of food debris was observed on non-food contact surfaces of the waffle iron and on the shelves below the prep tables. Two coats were found hanging on bread racks. Sanitizer spray bottles were not labeled (critical).

Subway, 200 W. Broad St., Bremen, Sept. 28. Violations: The surfaces of cutting blocks or boards were severely scratched or scored.

Bob Evans Farms LLC, 2157 Schorr Way Drive, Lancaster, Sept. 29. Violations: An inspection was conducted as the results of a complaint of bare-hand contact, poor hygiene practices and dirty glassware. A waitress was observed standing behind the counter biting her nails (critical). A bag of raw, frozen chicken was thawing standing in water. Eating utensils were stored with the lip contact surface facing upward. Thereafter a waitress picked up the container of utensils, grabbed the lip contact surface and began to wrap the silverware in napkins; person-in-charge removed all utensils to be rewashed.

Texas Roadhouse, 2890 Columbus-Lancaster Road NW, Lancaster, Sept. 30. No violations. The concerns noted on last inspection have been corrected.
