The White House continues its outreach to new media next week, as President Obama sits for a health care interview on WebMD.

The WebMD website, which is soliciting questions for Obama, airs the interview on March 14, next Friday.

The White House blog, describing WebMD as "the leading source of health information for consumers and health care professionals," notes that the website has more than 156 million unique visitors per month.

Its audience is 60% women, while 33% of it is 18-to-34 years old -- 38% of them younger users who are uninsured.

"The president's interview with WebMD continues efforts by the administration to encourage as many Americans as possible to sign up for health insurance for 2014 by the end of open enrollment on March 31," the White House says.
