Dropshipping: What are the best niches/products trending in the US?

Planning to start my first drop shipping website with products from aliexpress. Need help in finding a good niche/micro niche or a product which is currently in demand and trending in US/UK/Canada, Australia.

Drones, Hoverboards, fitness bands, choker necklaces, dog belts, fashion watches/handbags, etc seem very saturated and outdated.

Would really like to have your suggestion on trending products/ niche, esp the ones which would cost more than $30-50(unlike mobile phone cases which cost less than $10).

There are tons of products and videos that may steer you in the best directions for narrowing down to a good niche for ecom. Every major niche has toms of sub niches that you can choose from. Find something you are interested in and start your niche research there

Sure seems to me that if somebody knew which ones were the great niches, they'd keep that to themselves and not give up their great niche ideas to a future competitor.

Its good to start your own online business. Gone are the days when sellers have to spend a great deal of time for manual research on Amazon, eBay, etc. just to find out the profitable niche where they can make lots of sales.

Nowadays there are plenty of free and paid tools available on the internet that help you analyze the niches of your choice. In a matter of seconds you can find out estimated monthly sales in any niche with the level of competition.

I came across AMZ Insight an Amazon product research and tracking tool that has built in feature to analyze the niches for the Amazon sellers. It may not serve you well if you are not going to sell on Amazon but it can help you to understand the overall demand and competition of any niche in the US market on Amazon. By signing up free trial you may be able to find the niche of your choice.

Hot selling items are not the "best ones to sell" at the same time.

Hot selling means that thousands of people are making money with it right now, with thousands and thousands more TRYING to do so. I'm personally a fan of doing original stuff or jumping on a trend once it is brand new. But trying to ride on a super trendy product which has numerous established sellers and listings by now is quite hard.

Most of the "hot" products aren't so hot by the time you have built the site and started to rank well. You'd be better off just running Facebook ads for those and forget SEO, knowing that in another year, you'll be building another site with that year's hot product. Not a model I endorse because it's not very evergreen but, hey, there's all kinds of ways to make money online, so do whatever works best for you.

There have been a vast number of recent postings from amazing marketers providing long lists of products and niches that are worthy of considering. The search button is truly your friend. Many were made recently too so it won't be out of date info.

Simply be sure to define your niche and your target market before you invest in building your store. The last thing you want is a website and no set plan on how to drive traffic to. Without traffic there will be no sales.

Door Knobs
Stickers
Pillows
Yarn
Gift baskets
Green Tea
Bee Keeping stuff
Crickets
Worms
Electric fireplace
Cross bows
Two way radios
Water Ionizers
Beard maintenance stuff
Hair color stuff ; like the creams and the tools needed to color it.
Diamonds
Energy beads / Mala beads / yoga jewelry

I truly hope this list helps you or someone else hunting for a specific niche. It's all stuff that I decided I didn't want to build a store around but did spend some time researching. ( Seriously --- crickets and worms are just gross... lol ) My lost may be another person's gain.
