Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) Closed Testing The Los After Q4 Miss

Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.93 after the bell Tuesday, down from $1.06 a year ago. Analysts expected EPS of $0.97. The company expects to report first quarter adjusted EPS of $0.33 to $0.38 and full year adjusted EPS of $1.59 to $1.69. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.42 and $1.71.

Hewlett-Packard gapped open sharply lower Wednesday and fell in early trade, before settling into a range. The stock finished with a loss of 2 points at $12.64 on the highest volume of the year. Hewlett-Packard closed testing the lows of the year, trading at a 3-week low.
