General Dynamics Raises 2015 Outlook as Profit Beats Estimates

General Dynamics Corp., the maker of nuclear submarines and battle tanks, reported profit that beat analysts’ estimates and increased its full-year forecast, after delivering more business jets and benefiting from a rebound in the defense businesses.
Earnings from continuing operations rose 16 percent to $752 million, or $2.27 a share, General Dynamics said Wednesday. The average of 18 analysts’ estimates had predicted $2.06.
