Black Tie Gala: Cafe Thirty-A will celebrate 20 years of dining on the coast with a 20th Anniversary Black Tie Gala at 7 p.m. Dec. 4 benefiting Caring and Sharing of South Walton. Guests will enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres throughout the night, reflective of the past 20 years, a silent auction with fabulous products, services and vacations, a photo booth, a DJ, dancing, and more.Tickets are $75 and include two drinks, food and entertainment. Holiday Toast on the Coast: Enjoy Holiday Toast on the Coast: A Taste of South Walton from 6-8:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at v. lala Galleries at 30Avenue. This annual event will help raise funds for FPRA's NWF Coast Chapter as well as its charity of choice this year, Food For Thought Outreach Inc. The evening will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres by South Walton restaurants, a performance by Geoff McBride, wine, champagne, beer and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring a $10 grocery gift card to support Food For Thought. Tickets are $30/pre-event, $25/FPRA members and $35/person and $30/FPRA members day of event. Classical concert series: Christmas Spectacular with the Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus at 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at Christ the King Episcopal Church. All concerts are free and open to the public at Christ the King, 480 N. County Hwy. 393 in Santa Rosa Beach.

Chili Cook Off: Professional Firefighters of Walton County Local 4413 will host a Chili Cook Off from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 11 outside the Ace Hardware in DeFuniak Springs. All proceeds are going to Niki Davis and her battle with Stage 4 Metastatic Rectal Cancer. It's $20 to enter your famous bowl of chili, have a chance to win prizes and get two raffle tickets for a chance to win a five-burner stainless steel grill. Also, it is $8 for a bowl of chili and to be part of tasting and voting. Raffle tickets for the grill are $3/each, $10/4 and $20/10. CAA workshop: Watercolor Secrets Revealed will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 each day Feb. 23-26 at the Bayou Arts Center, 105 Hogtown Bayou Lane in Santa Rosa Beach. The cost is $380/student. Call the Cultural Arts Alliance at 622-5970 to register and for the supply list.

Dancing in the Streets: Dance on the cobblestone streets of Rosemary Beach from 3-5 p.m. Sundays while the Village Brass, a New Orleans style 7-piece strolling jazz band, plays.

Art Show: Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast Arts in Medicine program will host an art show and sale featuring the works of 15 members of the Local Color Artists Club based in Okaloosa County. The exhibit will feature a variety of works and mediums including oils, pastels, acrylics, watercolors, plein air, photography and metal. The exhibit runs through Dec. 30 in the hospital's 2nd Floor Atrium Gallery.

Kristy's Paint Party: An interactive paint class for kids to seniors using acrylics on wood will be held from 3-6 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at Artists at Gulfplace. Come anytime. Call 200-3142.

Mommy and Me: Cultural Arts Alliance will offer children's art classes featuring Abrakadoodle from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the Bayou Arts Center. The After School Art Classes run from 4-5 p.m. every Monday at the Bayou Arts Center. Cost is $20/class. Call 622-5970 for reservation.

Beach Service: Worship at the beach with Hope Lutheran Church from 8-9 a.m. at Ed Walline Regional Beach Access across on Scenic Hwy. 30A in Santa Rosa Beach. Bring a towel, chair, or stand on the boardwalk. The service will be held at the church’s U.S. 98 campus during inclement weather and if the temperature is below 50 degrees. Call 267-0322.

Farmers Market: The WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday and Thursday at Cerulean Park. Traditional Farmers Market items such as local farm fresh produce, eggs, and dairy products will be available. There will also be a large variety of organic and homemade items such as Greek gourmet foods, hot and jerk sauces, grass fed beef, chicken, and pork.

Grand Boulevard Farmers’ Market: The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday in Grand Park in Miramar Beach between Cantina Laredo and Tommy Bahama’s. Vendors will offer locally sourced food-based items including produce, eggs, milk, butter, grass-fed beef, chicken, lamb, and pork, honey, pickled vegetables and gourmet jams. Market is held on Wednesdays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

30A Farmers’ Market: This community event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays in Town Center in Rosemary Beach features fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, honey, cheese and more. Market is held on Thursdays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Seaside Farmers Market: Get your pick of fresh produce, baked goods, dairy products, native plants and other unique offerings Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Amphitheatre behind Raw & Juicy. Enjoy special cooking demos and activities.
