Stancorp Financial Group Inc (SFG) released a profit for fourth quarter that lost ground compared to the same period last year.
The company said its bottom line fell to $43.8 million, or $1.02 per share. This was lower than $55.8 million, or $1.31 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.9% to $739.9 million. This was up from $698.7 million last year.
