Awareness programme on hygiene

An awareness programme on personal hygiene for women and girls was organised by the corporate social responsibility cell of NLC India Ltd as part of the Clean India fortnight celebrations.

The programme was organised by the Neyveli chapter of Women in Public Sector in association with People Service Group of Neyveli and the Ramakrishna Seva Sangam in Sorathur, Perperiyankuppam, and Marungur villages.

S. Vijaykumari of NLCIL Government Hospital sensitised the students on the importance of personal hygiene. An awareness programme was held in Perperiyankuppam and around 200 girls participated in it. The students participated in a rally to create awareness on keeping the village clean.
