Teddy Bridgewater may not play during the 2017 NFL season, but all signs point to him improving enough to play in the league again one day.

The Minnesota Vikings will head into the 2017 NFL season with Sam Bradford as their starting quarterback, just as they did to begin last season. Bradford was traded to the Vikings after starter Teddy Bridgewater shattered his knee during the preseason, a devastating injury that made people question whether or not he would ever play again. Bridgewater is trying to defy the odds, and during OTAs, he actually was throwing the ball and taking drops, in hopes of one day getting back on the field in an NFL game.

The Los Angeles area has gotten a ton of rain in recent months, and it has actually been so bad that it is delaying the construction of the Rams and Chargers new stadium. Los Angeles was supposed to play host to Super Bowl LV after the 2021 season, but will now have to wait until 2023, as the stadium is not scheduled to open until 2021 now. The stadium was originally expected to be open for play in 2020, and due to the fact that the league requires a stadium to be fully functional for one year, their turn at hosting the big game will be put off by one year.

Sheldon Richardson has done a lot during his NFL career to rub people the wrong way, and on Tuesday, he took a shot at former teammate Brandon Marshall. Richardson actually believes the Jets locker room will be better with Marshall gone, which is saying a lot considering he had to miss one game last season due to the fact he was driving over 110 miles per hour with a gun and a 12-year old in his car. Marshall changed teams for the 2017 season but will be staying at MetLife Stadium, as he inked his new deal with the Giants.

The New England Patriots won Super Bowl LI after last season without Rob Gronkowski, but that did not stop the team from restructuring his deal for the upcoming season. Gronkowski, who is a four-time Pro Bowler, can make up to $10.75 million with his new deal if he can reach certain thresholds. The Patriots are expected to be right back in the mix for another Super Bowl title in 2017, and should be even stronger with a healthy Gronkowski back in the fold.

Finally, some sad news from the NFL. Hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy died on Tuesday at only 48 years old, as he passed away in Orlando, Florida. An eight-time Pro Bowler for the Seattle Seahawks, Kennedy was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012, and was still active in the game at the time of his death. The third overall selection in the 1990 NFL Draft, Kennedy was placed into the Seahawks Ring of Honor in 206, becoming immortal in the eyes of the 12th Man.
