MBPD's Street Crimes Unit officers awarded Gold Shield Honor Bars
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Officers from the Myrtle Beach Police Department's Street Crimes Unit were honored Wednesday for their teamwork and tenacity, which led to the seizure of over $70,000 in drugs and five arrests, according to the MBPD Facebook page.
The following officers were recognized and awarded the Gold Shield Honor Bar:
- Private First Class Ben Wilson
- Private First Class Mark Landi
- Private First Class Austin Cox
- Private First Class Michael Householder
- Private First Class Kenny Harlow
According to the City of Myrtle Beach website, the Street Crimes Unit is an integral part of the MBPD's Patrol Division.
The Street Crimes Unit collaborates with Narcotics and Vice officers to address on street-level activities, the website states.
