Manchester United’s second bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been rejected, with the Serie A giants demanding a deal in excess of £108million for the France midfielder.

The Red Devils are believed to have offered a package deal worth around £100million for the 23-year-old, £8million of which is incentivised add-ons.

However, the Old Lady are doing all they can to extract the best financial package they can for Pogba and, with the midfielder contracted until 2019, they know they hold all the cards.

According to the Guardian, Juventus have demanded an extra £8.5m on top of the £100m deal that the Red Devils have offered.

Pogba is currently in Miami enjoying the final week of his holiday and is believed to be keen to move back to Old Trafford, despite the fact that Jose Mourinho’s side are outside of the Champions League.

Any deal for Pogba will comfortably top the £85.5m fee that Real Madrid paid Tottenham for Gareth Bale and would see the Frenchman become the most expensive player on the planet.
