Swift to deploy Spireon’s FleetLocate solution for new trailers after successful one-year pilot

Swift Transportation Company, a leader in transportation solutions and the nation's largest truckload provider, and Spireon Inc., the leading innovator of Mobile Resource Management (MRM) and Business Intelligence Solutions that connect companies to their mobile assets and workforces, recently announced an enterprise agreement whereby Swift will deploy Spireon’s FleetLocate Asset & Trailer Intelligence solution for starting with the new 2015 model year dry van trailers the company adds to its fleet.

Swift is one of the largest multi-faceted transportation services company in North America with a tractor fleet of approximately 18,000 units and 60,000 trailers.

• Accurate trailer mileage reporting for improved maintenance
• Seamless TMS integration to drive enhanced operational efficiency
• Real time trailer location information
