Costco Wholesale September Sales Up 10%

(RTTNews) - Costco Wholesale Corp. (COST) Wednesday said its sales for September increased 10 percent from last year.
Net sales was $13.64 billion for the retail month of September, an increase of 10.3 percent from $12.37 billion last year.
Beginning in fiscal year 2019, the company adopted Revenue Recognition Standard ASC 606. The company estimates the new standard to benefit net and comparable sales by about 1 percent.
Total company comparable sales increased 8.4%.
