@cracktech thank you SO much for linking to the proper files for the A7-30F variant. i must have download 10 different ROMS and scatter files and none of them would even load into the SPFlashTool or if they did, they would say it was the wrong chip. i was about to toss this tablet until i found your links and finally the correct ROM and scatter AND a bonus of proper TWRP recovery. now my tablet is back and working.
Glad I could help out!! I am moving on to Lenovo Phab2 Plus (not Pro because I like MTK SoC)
But this is an advise to all the A7-30XX users out here that. I recommend it to be rooted because in all the firmware version, the bloatware folders resides within the system folder. So if you think that by uninstalling the bloatwares they are gone , you are dead wrong! They are occupying nearly 300Mb of the precious system storage and still there. This what you do! Unisntall all the bloatwares , root it then go inside /system/appjar/ folder and delete all the "apk" inside that folder (after uninstalling them first!).
Your Google system app will be updated and they will occupy your meagre data storage area whereas they should reside in the /system/app and system/priv-app/ folder and thus free up the space. You will have to MANUALLY copy individual Google app back into /system/app/ folder.
If you use Root Explorer you will be able to see the icon of each individual app. In the /data/ap/ folder they will be named as example "com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox-1" folder wthin which resides "base.apk" and "lib" sub folder all the google apps will be named "com.google.android.XXXXXXX-1/2" . The "googlequicksearchbox" is actually your Google Apps but in the system it named as "Velvet.apk" so you have to COPY it somewhere in your internal sdcard then rename the "base.apk" to "Velvet.apk" (if confused just look at the icon) then move the whole "Velvet.apk and "lib" sub folder to the correct location (this case it will be in the "priv-app") Apps like Gmail/Maps/GooglePlus/ will be in the /system/app" folder. After you have done this manual pushing back of apps immediately reboot.
About SpFlashTool for Tab that usually cannot remove battery we use SP FlashTool verion "5.xx.yy." select with battery or "auto" and DA/AllChecksum must be ticked in the option.
NO need to remove battery BUT just ensure that that the Tab/Phone is totally OFF and not in sleep mode. Press power button till you feel vibration. Then proceed with the flashing process as usual.
