O'Reilly Automotive Inc. (ORLY) reported third quarter EPS of $2.64 after the bell Wednesday, up from $2.06 last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $2.38. The company expects to report fourth quarter EPS of $1.97 to $2.01 and between $8.97 and $9.01 for the full year. Analysts are expecting EPS of $2.06 and $8.91.
O'Reilly Automotive has gapped open sharply higher Thursday morning and is now up 11.12 at $274.16. The stock has climbed to its second consecutive new high for the year.
