MT. VERNON, IL (KTVI) – The Mt. Vernon Police Department is continuing to investigate the robbery of the Old National Bank that occurred on June 12th. The bank is located on South 34th Street.
Police say the suspect is an African-American male, 35-50 years-old, 6’6”, with a muscular build. He was last seen wearing a blue Kango hat, blue shirt, mustard colored overcoat, and blue jeans.
A witness said the suspect was very polite and calm.
