The Masconomet Music Parents Association (MMPA) will hold its annual electronics recycling fundraiser event on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Masconomet High School parking lot.

It is a fundraiser for Masco student music scholarships, but it is also a big convenience for residents – providing environmentally responsible disposal of unwanted/broken things around the house. Make a tax-deductible donation and an enthusiastic music student or parent volunteer will unload your vehicle and help eliminate clutter from your home and recyclables from the waste stream.

See the MMPA website for the pricelist at www.mascomusic.org.

The best part is that MMPA provides FREE pick up of all electronics, TV, etc. from senior citizens, any day between now and Saturday morning the 17th. Even reasonable disconnecting and lifting/moving – for no extra charge. They  started doing this last year, and it was a very well received service for the seniors who otherwise can’t move the equipment themselves.

Call Ben Messenger directly at 978-887-1283 or send him an email at messenger1283@yahoo.com to arrange the pick up – and thanks for supporting the Masco music program!
