The Chamber recently conducted Plumas Bank’s Reno branch ribbon-cutting ceremony at its grand opening celebration.

Chamber CEO Len Stevens and his team presented the scissors to the Plumas Bank team and project managers, including president, CEO and director Andrew J. Ryback; chairman of the board Dan West; EVP, retail banking and commercial loan manager BJ North; vice president and branch manager Kyle Whaley; and vice president and regional commercial loan manager Teresa Courrier; local architect for the bank renovation project, Mercedes de la Garza; and Q & D Construction founder Norman Dianda.

More than 200 attended. Several dignitaries presented proclamations to Ryback and the Reno team. Roundabout Catering served the fare, entertainment was provided by guitarist extraordinaire, John Ponzo, and custom parting gifts were made by Kimmie Candy Co. The building, which includes the bank branch, administrative and loan offices, as well as a community room open to the public, was made available for touring. Coming this spring, the bank will partner with Urban Roots to develop an educational community garden for zip code 89502.
