YUMMM: Red Robin coming back to Tucson

Tucson News Now - Do not fear, Red Robin is here!

Until last year, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers was a popular place for shoppers to grab a bite to eat at the Tucson Mall.

The restaurant was closed by owner Anne Barnes in July 2017 following the death of her husband Dan.

Now, Red Robin is opening a new location at a new development project called The Landing, on the corner of West Irvington Road and Interstate 19 on Tucson's southwest side.

A spokesperson for Bourn Companies confirmed ground has been broken but there is no opening date set yet.

Chipotle, Habit Burger, Oregano's Pizza Bistro and Hooters are expected to set up shop in the development as well.
