Garden Club of Jacksonville presents Fun With Flowers: Christmas Design Delights 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 1005 Riverside Ave. Reservations are $22 and includes workshop materials, except for clippers. Clay County Cruise-Ins new locations
Clay County Cruzers announces new locations and times for its monthly cruise-ins. Every first Saturday of the month will be held at Big Dawg's Family Sports Restaurant, 1330 Blanding Blvd., Ste. 135, Orange Park, 3-6 p.m. Every second Saturday is at a rotating location. Every third Saturday will be held at Your Pie, 1545 County Road 220, Suite 125, Fleming Island, 4-6 p.m. And every fourth Satruday will be held 8-10 a.m. at Nicole's Cafe, 1101 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park and 4-6 p.m. at Creek Life Food Shack, 2853 Henley Road, Green Cove Springs. Polish Fall Festival
The Polish American Club in Orange Park, 5850 Collins Road, is hosting a Polish Fall Festival and will also celebrate St.Andrew's Day 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28. Festival includes games and fortune telling, music, free bounce house for children and bonfire at dusk with roasting sausage and marshmallows. STEM grant benefits middle school students
Investing in Kids is one of nine projects out of 28 applicants chosen for a $5,000 Innovation Generation grant from the Motorola Solutions Foundation. The grant will give 200 students at Gamble Rogers Middle School the opportunity to learn and apply STEM skills outside of the classroom.
