Arena Pharmaceuticals Q4 Loss Widens

Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ARNA) Monday reported fourth-quarter net loss of $32.1 million or $0.15 per share, wider than last year's loss of $23.5 million or $0.11 per share.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $9.2 million from $6.5 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.12 per share on revenues of $10.36 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
