2017 Draft moment of truth: who should Cowboys select at No. 28?

The day has finally arrived and NFL Christmas is upon the world.  After all the months of evaluation, grading and speculation, the first round of the NFL draft begins.  The Cowboys have put in the work and feel comfortable about their board.  The only thing left is to see who goes off the board before their selection, buckle down and make the pick.

There have been hudreds, maybe thousands of mock drafts to this point and none can seem to find a consensus of exactly who the Cowboys should pick.  The difficult part of selecting at No. 28 is so much happens beforehand that it’s hard to predict who may be on the board.  Yes, the Cowboys could move up in the draft if someone they covet starts to fall, but it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense in a draft so deep in the positions the Cowboys truly need, cornerback and defensive end.

The most logical move would be to hold tight at No. 28 and see who remains.
