Manhattan socialite ordered to bring back overseas assets to pay ex-wife

When a Manhattan socialite scored a $38 million judgment against her fraudster ex-husband, he fled the United States with his decades-younger second wife.

Now, though, a Florida judge has ordered Todd Kozel to repatriate millions of dollars in assets he has hidden overseas in a bid to stiff ex-wife Ashley Kozel.

Sarasota County Judge Nancy Donnellan wrote in an order released Wednesday that she was finding the former CEO of Gulf Keystone Petroleum in contempt of court for his “contumacious conduct, false testimony, false excuses and falsifying records.”

Todd faked the sale of a $20 million Manhattan apartment to avoid handing it over to his ex, the judge found. He also backdated phony loans to bolster claims that he’s broke, she ruled.

A spokesman for Todd, 49, and wife Inga, 30, said “there is no fraud here.”
