The Canada Cup XC Mountain Bike Series is preparing to make a stop at the Naughton Ski and Bike Trails. From July 12 to 14, some 600 racers will flock to the trails for the race put on by the Walden Mountain Bike Club, Pulse Racing and the City of Greater Sudbury.

The roster of athletes competing is quite impressive. World mountain bike champion Catherine Pendrell will be starting, as well as several Olympians and national team racers.

To prepare for the races, the Naughton trails will be closed from July 11 to 14.

The community is invited to watch the races. Parking is available at the Penguin Research facility and the Naughton Community Centre parking lots.

Admission is free.
