BUSINESS PEOPLE: Vantiv, Inc. hires chief HR officer

Vantiv, Inc. announced Kim Martin as chief human resources officer. Martin will be responsible for all human resources functions, including recruiting, talent development and performance management.

Martin has held numerous human resources leadership positions. She most recently served as vice president of human resources for the Americas at Zimmer Holdings. She previously served as executive human resources leader at GE Healthcare's Monitoring Solutions and Diagnostic Cardiology division.

Martin earned a bachelor's degree in speech communications and a master's degree in labor and industrial relations from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
