Office portfolio acquired for £211m

Nine offices in the South East and East of England have changed hands in a deal worth more than £200m.

The offices, which comprise 814,700 sq ft of lettable space, were purchased by Kennedy Wilson Europe from an entity affiliated with Apollo Global Management.

The underlying real estate is valued at £211m at completion, reflecting a yield on cost of 8 per cent.

The acquisition was funded from the company's cash resources.

The offices are in Watford (Leavesden Park), Farnborough (Discovery Place), Harlow (Edinburgh Gate), Hook (Bartley Wood Business Park), Maidenhead (Eton House), Heathrow (Stockley Park), Slough (Axis One, Hurricane Way), Bracknell (Thames House) and Reading (Eldon Court, London Road).

Mary Ricks, president and chief executive of Kennedy Wilson Europe, said the "high quality" portfolio has been acquired at an "attractive entry basis".
