A 9-year veteran of Jack in the Box's leadership team has been promoted to the chain's chief investor relations and corporate communications officer. Carol DiRaimo steps into the job with more than 25 years of industry experience, along with six years of public accounting experience at Deloitte, a news release said.
The leadership promotion comes just as Jack in the Box was named for the third straight year one of America’s Most Honored Companies by Institutional Investor, which recognizes top-ranking executive teams nationally.
"Carol has been a trusted partner amongst our executive leadership team and board of directors," Jack in the Box Chairman and CEO Lenny Comma, said in a news release. "Her unique perspective, out-of-the-box thinking and unwavering passion for our business make her one of the most respected executives at the table.”
DeRaimo also has experience as Applebee's vice president of investor relations, where she served before joining Jack in the Box in 2008.
