MELA Sciences Inc. (MELA) has gapped open sharply higher Wednesday morning and is now up 1.63 at $3.71 on the highest volume of the year.
MELA Sciences has broken out of a 2 1/2 week trading range and has set over an 8-month high. The company announced in a regulatory filing that the CPT Editorial Panel accepted the addition of Category III codes 039XX1T and 039XX2T to report multi-spectral digital skin lesion analysis of atypical cutaneous lesions.
