Brighton

Theft: A vehicle was reported stolen from the apartment complex parking lot on Clintwood Court overnight between July 29 and 30.

Trespass: An unknown person rummaged through an unlocked vehicle on Spier Avenue between July 25 and 26.

Brockport

Unlicensed operator: A 24-year-old male was arrested July 26 on the charges of second and third degree aggravated unlicensed operator along with other traffic related offenses. The suspect is due to appear in Brockport Village Court.

Gates

Theft: Two lawnmowers were stolen by an unknown suspect or suspects, one on July 26 from near the front of a house on the 500 block of Howard Road and the other on July 27 from the yard of a house on the 100 block of Gatewood Avenue.

Petit larceny: Around midnight July 24, two males were reported going through vehicles on Meadowdale Drive. The police responded and chased a male wearing a black hoodie and jeans. They were not able to catch him, but they seized three bikes that were used by the suspects to arrive at the crime scene.

Grand larceny: A 51-year-old man from Rochester was arrested July 28 for allegedly stealing two motor vehicles on July 19 from a driveway on Cole Avenue and selling them to a junkyard. The cars were found and returned. The man was arraigned in Gates Court and released.

Greece

Grand larceny: Two white males were seen stealing $1,000 worth of yard equipment from a flat bed truck around 3 p.m. July 13 at 120 Erie Canal Dr.

Criminal mischief: Around 3 p.m. July 13, a female suspect was arrested for causing trouble that led to a register being damaged at the Little Caesars at 3743 Dewey Ave.

Petit larceny: A victim reported that an unknown suspect stole a license plate off her vehicle on Surrey Road on July 13.

Bob Johnson Cherolet at 1271 West Ridge Road reported that it received a ticket July 14 for an unknown vehicle with one of its dealer plates running a red light. The business said the license plate has not been in its system for two years.

A male suspect allegedly stole $239 worth of merchandise from the Kohls at 4100 West Ridge Road. The suspect was arrested at 11:47 a.m. July 14.

A female suspect was arrested July 14 for taking $609.23 worth of merchandise from a business at 3507 Mount Read Blvd. without paying.

Identity theft: On July 14, a victim on Island Cottage Road reported an unknown person attempted to open three credit cards in her name without her permission.

Arson: On July 15, an unknown suspect started a fire that burned the south side of a detached garage on 216 Bennington Drive.

Henrietta

Larceny: Two suspects allegedly stole $479 worth of clothing from Burlington Coat Factory at 3333 West Henrietta Road July 21. They removed the security tags from the items and left the store without paying. The suspects were later arrested and issued appearance tickets for Henrietta Town Court.

Burglary: Between 5 and 7:15 a.m. July 24, an unknown suspect or suspects allegedly entered a home on Colony Lane while its owners were asleep and stole two televisions and two laptops. The sliding door to the house was apparently left unlocked.

Irondequoit

DWI: On July 26, a person was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on Titus Avenue after registering a .28 blood alcohol content level, more than three times the legal limit.

Drugs: On July 28, a person was arrested on Cooper Road for criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Ogden

Criminal mischief: At 2 a.m. July 21, an officer responding to a call on Clearview Drive found pool toys and solar lights hanging on a homeowner's bushes.

Petit larceny: At 2 a.m. July 21, a homeowner reported seeing two males go into a backyard on Meadow Drive on foot, then leave on bicycles. Later, two bikes were found abandoned in front of 13 Airy Drive.

Penfield

Larceny: An unknown person entered someone's vehicle on Christine Circle and stole three shotguns and a .22 caliber rifle sometime overnight between July 22 and 23.

Perinton

Larceny: An unknown person stole several purses from an unlocked vehicle in a driveway and took credit cards and several clothing items sometime overnight between July 26 and 27.

Pittsford

Larceny: An unknown person entered the victim's unlocked vehicle in his driveway and removed a backpack, MacBook Pro, iPad, Nikon camera, and other items sometime overnight from July 22 to 23.

Rush

Burglary: Sometime between July 21 and 28, an unknown suspect allegedly entered an attached garage on Pine Tree Trail, perhaps by activating the exterior garage opening button, and stole chainsaws. There were no signs of forced entry.

Victor

Criminal mischief: A Victor man was arrested at 34 E. Main St. for allegedly damaging the bar rail molding and preventing deputies from performing their official duties during the investigation on July 23.

Webster

Grand larceny, criminal mischief: A driver reported that someone threw a cinder block through his vehicle's driver's side window and stole his wallet and contents on July 15.

Wheatland

Criminal mischief: At about 4:20 a.m. July 23, an unknown suspect or suspects reportedly pried a screen off a home under construction at 1654 Mumford Road. The suspect(s) may have then run away after the house alarm activated.
