In the April 22 edition of THE CHIEF-LEADER, a frequent contributor asks a simple question regarding media coverage of Teachers and police officers—“Will someone explain the disparity in the general treatment of unions in the press?”
To answer this, I believe we must first take a critical look at the media, particularly the long-held, erroneous myth that the media is liberal.
