Starbucks Drive-Thru Approved for Middletown
The coffee giant's new location will be on Washington Street.
The Home Depot plaza in Middletown on Washington Street will gain a Starbucks drive-thru following a variance approval this week by the city’s Zoning Board of Appeals.
The site, currently a vacant Computer Tune and Lube, will be developed by Richard Carella of Middletown Washington LLC, reports The Middletown Press.
ZBA members voted unanimously to approve the variance, which allows the drive-thru to be 160 feet instead of the usual 200 feet. Eleven cars will be able to queue up at the location.
