On the Agenda: Rockford redevelopment, road salt, happy hour, Roscoe police

In an effort to shed more light on what local government boards are up to each week, the Register Star will publish a brief look at key items up for consideration by elected bodies.

Here are some items on the agenda this week:

Boone County Board: The Roads and Capital Improvements Committee will consider a resolution to appropriate $376,809 from the Motor Fuel Tax Fund to pay for salt, ice abrasives, road paint, beads, signs, equipment and labor. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Administration Complex, 1212 Logan Ave., Belvidere.
