A hard hat tour of Service King’s new 70,000-square-foot “state of art” Collision Repair Facility in Milpitas at 156 S. Milpitas Blvd. took place on Oct. 29. The shop is expected to open in January 2016.

Ather Sheikh, a resident of Milpitas for more than 17 years, will be general manger of the new facility — the eighth Service King location in the Bay Area.

The new facility will have the latest equipment, including four paint refinishing spray booths and four paint preparation booths.

More than 100 people attended the event, which started with a tour of the facility and was followed by lunch and raffle prizes provided by sponsors.

Enterprise, FinishMaster, Axalta, LKQ, ProStar Towing, Safelite Auto Glass, Dent Craft, OSC Service Center, Magnussen’s Lexus of Fremont, Weatherford BMW, Auto Nation Wholesale Parts and Future Nissan of Roseville sponsored the tour.
