ATHENS, GREECE--(Marketwired - Dec 28, 2015) - Globus Maritime Limited ("Globus," the "Company," "we," or "our") (NASDAQ: GLBS), a dry bulk shipping company, announced today the resignation of Mr. Georgios ("George") K. Karageorgiou from the position of President, Chief Executive and interim Chief Financial Officer and Director of Globus Maritime Limited. Mr. Karageorgiou is resigning for personal reasons effective December 28, 2015.

Athanasios ("Thanos") Feidakis, the Company's current Non Executive Director, will be appointed as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer as of the same day. Mr. Athanasios Feidakis is the son of our Chairman, Georgios Feidakis. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Globus Maritime, Mr. Georgios ("George") Feidakis, commented: "We thank Mr. Karageorgiou for his long service to the Company and we wish him every success in his future endeavors.
