Members of the MSc in Marketing Practice class are hosting the annual Christmas event to help raise funds for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind this Christmas.

The event, taking place on Decemeber 6, will be a family fun day out complete with bouncing castles, balloon makers, Christmas movies, arts and crafts and a raffle.

Children of all ages are invited to attend the event, where it is expected even Santa Claus will take time out his busy schedule to pay a visit.

Alan O'Brien, the event co-ordinator, said the goal of the event is to "raise as much money as possible for the Guide Dogs while giving a fun and magical experience for the children attending and their families."

"We are hoping to raise around €2000 for the Irish Guide Dogs."

The event takes place at CIT’s Nexus Centre, December 6, from 11am - 3pm. Tickets for the event can be found at www.cit.ie/tickets. For more information go to “Winter Wonderland Cork” on Facebook.
