HHGregg to Leave Vernon Hills
Bob's Discount Furniture is looking to takeover after HH Gregg leaves.
The HHGregg appliance in Vernon Hills is expected to vacate from their location close to mid-October, according to village officials.
The storefront could soon become a Bob's Discount Furniture and company officials are scheduled to show their plans to the Village Board on Sept. 20, according to the Chicago Tribune.
HHGregg's closure was confirmed by company spokesman Patrick Skertich in a written statement to Pioneer Press.
"This closing, along with the recent announcement of restructuring our distribution network, allows us to continue driving the company towards profitability and growth with our launch of 25-to-30 new Fine Lines specialty store openings over the next two years," the statement reads.
