    Zoom Technologies opens Centre of Excellence in Vijayawada

    HYDERABAD: Network and security solutions provider Zoom Technologies on Thursday launched its Centre of Excellence in Vijayawada as it looks to tap the growing market for cyber security needs of Andhra Pradesh.

    The dedicated Centre of Excellence in Cyber security, Virtualisation and Cloud Computing is being established in partnership with the US Council and would offer certification courses of cyber security giant Kaspersky Labs to equip security professionals.

    According to M.H. Noble, chief executive officer, Zoom Technologies, “The centre has a world class training environment with security experts as instructors with several years of industry experience. Our endeavor is to train the cyber security experts of tomorrow who are equally at ease in protecting the conventional or the latest cutting edge network.”

    The Centre will provide services like security training program, threat intelligence services, machine-readable threat intelligence, botnet tracking, intelligence reporting; tailored threat reporting; penetration testing services, ATM/PoS security assessment and telecommunication networks security assessment services.

    “It holds has great significance in the new state as virtualisation has become ubiquitous in data centers and more and more organisations are moving towards virtualisation because of the enormous cost savings as well as the scalability that it offers. Virtualisation helps to optimize IT service delivery and improves the automation and flexibility of IT infrastructure,” the company said.
