Ralph Lauren Unveils Team USA's Uniforms for the 2016 Ryder Cup

Ryder Cup- Ralph Lauren is proud to unveil the Official 2016 United States Ryder Cup Team uniforms, continuing its partnership with the PGA of America as the Official Outfitter for the U.S. Ryder Cup Team. Grounded in an American color palette of red, white and blue, the team’s on course uniforms feature modern stripes and color blocking, accented with patriotic logos and graphics. Combining the rich heritage of the tournament with innovative performance fabrics, Ralph Lauren will outfit the U.S. Ryder Cup Team, including Captain Davis Love III with uniforms, outerwear and tailored clothing to be worn during play, Opening Ceremony and the welcome dinner during the 41st Ryder Cup, September. 27 – October 2, at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota. Sleek, Americana-inspired details bring a distinct ethos to the team’s apparel. “United We Stand” is printed on the interior waistband of all competition pants, a United States flag is etched onto the reverse side of the team belt buckle and a new stars-and-stripes camo print appears on selected outerwear.

Engineered with the rigors of professional golf in mind, each garment is constructed with the highest quality tech fabrics, providing optimal moisture-wicking properties and enhanced airflow. Ergonomic polo shirts are designed to accommodate any swing radius, while tech-gab pants are lightweight and flexible. Hot hot hot. It’s almost impossible to fuck up Ryder Cup uniforms and luckily Ralph Lauren didn’t fuck them up. It doesn’t really matter what they look like because Team USA is gonna murder Team Europe this time around but they still look great. Basically you can throw red, white and blue on any shirt, jacket, hat, or pants and it’s gonna look fantastic. The uniforms this year are clean and simple. Do I still wish John Daly was the captain and the whole squad would roll up wearing crazy Loudmouth red, white and blur apparel? Yeah I do. But it’s too late for that now. We’re about a month away. PS- It looks like Rickie Fowler is more than likely going to make the team so this what they need to do. The whole USA Ryder Cup team needs to grow mustaches. It’d be a team bonding exercise and it’d look AWESOME. It’d make those pussy Europeans shit themselves as soon as they get off the plane in Minnesota.
