Las Vegas Market ups outdoor commitment

LAS VEGAS — The Jan. 22-26 Las Vegas Market will have additional resources on hand as the outdoor category continues to grow in importance here.

In all, eight new tenants join the market’s lineup, including seven in the temporary exhibition space on C13.

“As consumer demand for resources to enhance their outdoor space grows, Las Vegas Market is delivering new, trend-focused and unique resources to address increasing demand,” said Scott Eckman, executive vice president of marketing and furniture leasing, International Market Centers.

Noble House Home Furnishings, a California-based company specializing in outdoor, décor and occasional products, is bringing a broad range of original designs to a 3,000 square-foot showroom on the 13th Floor of Building C in space C-1328.

Winston Furniture joins the temporary lineup on C13. Winston’s product line for 2016 consists of 29 furniture collections, more than 550 fabrics and 12 frame Finishes. Additional temporary tenants include Furniture Designhouse, Mountain House Furniture, Ningbo Sunmate Home & Casual Promotion Co., Ltd., Phu Taj J.S. Company, Sunproof and The Supreme Industries Ltd. These newcomers join Agio, America’s Backyard, Ebel, Hanamint, OW Lee, Panama Jack, Kannoa, Casual Classics, Pelican Reef/Panama Jack, Poly- Wood, Ratana, Scancom International/Northcape, South Sea Rattan, Skyline Design, Sunset West, Telescope Casual, Treasure Garden and more on the casual Floors.

Additional casual resources can be found throughout the Las Vegas Market campus, including Tommy Bahama, Zuo Modern, Veneman Collections and with Ashley Furniture, launching a new casual collection in its showroom on the 15th floor of Building B. Ebel will launch its newest collection, Monaco, at this January’s market in its showroom on the 13th floor of Building C (C-1389). Officials say Monaco’s clean, simple lines and no-maintenance design are appropriate for both hospitality and retail settings. “This is the first time we’ve been able to use the platform of Las Vegas Market to be able launch a new group,” said Mark Bottemiller, national sales manager for Ebel. “With the mix of indoor furniture stores, outdoor specialty and design/ hospitality trade, Las Vegas is the perfect venue for the launch of this particular collection.” Another new outdoor furniture collection from Kannoa, in partnership with Eddie Bauer, is launching in January, appealing to the active, outdoor enthusiast. The branded collection on full display in its showroom (C-466) and includes multiple chat sets and dining sets in approachable, classic styling with a rustic modern twist. The winter market features an exciting new event sure designed to please the legions of football fans who attend Las Vegas Market. In partnership with Furniture Today’s sister publication Casual Living, Las Vegas Market is hosting a day-long event so buyers and exhibitors can conduct business and enjoy a little pigskin action in the process. The Casual Crawl and Tailgate in the Temps takes place from noon to 6 p.m. on Jan. 22 as the AFC and NFC championship games will be on TV in select showrooms.
