Raritan Valley Community College's (RVCC) Board of Trustees has welcomed new member Gary Hazard of Flemington. Hazard was appointed to the Board of Trustees by the Hunterdon County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and joined the board this spring.

"His extensive leadership experience in technology and business, and his longstanding commitment to serving his community will make him a valuable addition to the Board of Trustees," said RVCC President Michael J. McDonough.

Hazard has served as a leader and principal with Atrion Inc., an information technology firm, for more than 22 years. His current role is vice president of Sales, Mid-Atlantic. Atrion has more than 300 employees at locations in New Jersey and Rhode Island. Hazard has held leadership positions in sales, operations, and executive management.

He also has served his community as an elected Raritan Township official, police commissioner, parks and recreation commissioner, and president of the Greater Flemington Soccer Club. Hazard received a bachelor's degree in business management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
