A Pennsylvania company which has four plants in the Tulsa area announced Monday it has purchased Hammco Corporation of Owasso.
Hammco is a provider of process coolers for the natural gas and petrochemical processing industries. Its plant is located at 6901 North 115th East Avenue.
In a news release, Harsco of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania says the Owasso facility will be managed by Harsco Industrial Air-X-Changers, located at the Port of Catoosa.
In a news release, Harsco Industrial Air-X-Changers says the Owasso plant and the Port of Catoosa facilities will be operated separately.

Hammco Corporation was founded in 1971 by the late Charles Helscel.
Hammco has 80 employees in Owasso and Harsco has 435 at its three facilities at the Port of Catoosa and a fourth facility in Sapulpa.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
